We are a platform designed to help independent & unsigned artists to be heard, as well as give a voice to the writers who perhaps don't have any journalistic experience - but have something to say.

So much opportunity is now behind a paywall and we really believe that it shouldn't be. Every artist should be heard and platformed equally and every journalist should be given the chance to write if they are passionate. ​

We publish interviews with independent artists, industry professionals, promotion companies and music organisations, all aiming to highlight the issues that face those trying to make it in the music landscape.

Our Artist Spotlights showcase the best of unsigned music from around the world. All genres welcome, no fees.

We also offer track reviews, with genuine, insightful feedback. We know there's nothing worse than sending off promo campaigns to publications, to merely receive your press release, verbatim.

Bad Taste is also a community space for discussing topics and issues within the creative industries. We are very aware, from our own experiences, that there are issues that need raising. We are also aware that the best people to raise them are the people who experience them the most - people like you.
