As Managing Director of the UK’s biggest student music mag and a radio show host at the University of Nottingham, Jake has had plenty of music journalism experience. Having also played in a few bands (usually very badly) he’s more than aware of both the ups and downs of live music.

He likes to think his (mildly unhealthy) obsession with Slayer helps him in his quests to discover the best of heavy underground music.
